COSFORD AIR SHOW

The first major air show of the year and the RAF premier event held at RAF Cosford on Sunday 11th June.

RED FLAG USA 17-1

The first Red Flag exercise of 2017 took place at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada with the F-35a taking part for the very first time. International participants joined from the UK and Australia.

RAF BRIZE NORTON NIGHT SHOOT

Another RAF station provides an excellent opportunity to photograph the based aircraft at night.

JAGUARS AT NIGHT

A further opportunity to photograph the remaining RAF SEPECAT Jaguars under the lights at RAF Cosford.

RAF NORTHOLT NIGHT SHOOT

Its October and the Northolt Night shoot to all end all Northolt Night shoots.

COLD WAR JETS

In August the bi-annual Cold War jet event was held at Bruntingthorpe. The English Electric Lightning and Blackburn Buccaneer runs were the highlight of the show.

RAF BRIZE NORTON

During June RAF Brize Norton organised a photo shoot to display the aircraft based there and showcase a number of specially painted airframes to celebrate a number of upcoming anniversaries.

NX611 JUST JANE AVRO LANCASTER

September and a visit to Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre in East Kirkby. A great opportunity to capture Avro Lancaster 'Just Jane' under the lights.

JAGUARS RAF COSFORD

On August 31st the RAF Jaguars ran their engines for the very last time. This was an organised event hosted by 238 Squadron and RAF Cosford.

SABER STRIKE/BALTOPS

In June three United States Air Force B52's from Minot Air Force base in Dakota arrived in RAF Fairford for a three week deployment in support of Exercise Saber Strike 2016 and Baltops 2016.

RAF MARHAM TORNADO

RAF Marham organised an evening photo shoot,an opportunity for them to raise funds for the base charities. It is clear there is a demand for such opportunities following the success of the recent sunset shoot at RAF Coningsby and the star of the event was the Tornado GR4.

BULGARIAN AIR FORCE

The destination - Bulgaria. The objective - carry out a photographic assignment documenting the Bulgarian Fighter force with a special focus on the venerable Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG 21 flying in the twilight of its career.
